Measuring a wall for wallpaper.
- We require the Width and Height of the wall.
- You should always measure the desired wall you are thinking of having an image installed on from corner to corner – and include the doors and windows (if there are any).
- The online costing inputs work in “mm”.
- Most tape measures read in “cm” 0 – 10, then 20, 30, 40 etc (these are usually highlighted, with “1-9” in between) up to 100. Then 100 – 110 again with the smaller 1-9 in between.
- In “mm” the highlighted numbers would be increments of 100.
- 10cm = 100mm.
- 50cm = 500mm.
- 100cm = 1000mm (1m)
- You can measure to the closest 5mm – always safest to round up. i.e. 3172mm, round up to 3175mm.
- We add 100mm bleed automatically to the dimensions given – as ceilings and floor are not always 100% level.
